Anaqihr is a wizard from the Dweomer Enclave that assists in the creation and facilitation of the Great Games in Bazagon. One day, he was sent alongside some runners who had proven themselves to investigate the appearance of undead beasts outside the city walls. Not only did the present a potential danger to the people of Bazagon, but they were linked to activities involving recent gauntlet runners.

He and the party found that an elemental very similar to one the Dweomer Enclave had devised for a gauntlet. The Horned One, the leader of the Obscura Maskareta, succeeded in persuading it to join his rebellious cause against the empire of Bazagon.

Anaqihr reported these events back to the Dwemore Enclave, but he was told that there was no evidence of any research having been taken or stolen. Suspicious of this response, Anaqihr began venturing into Kóris Ekteinō and other crime-ridden areas to learn the truth. He uses the alias Vaelgor when posing as a gauntlet runner in these areas.
