Dravok comes to Diamond Lake from the Free City of Tullisarvi and serves under the command of Captain Olliver Trask. The soldiers under Trask's command are tasked with guarding the roads to ensure smelted ore from the mines can reach the Free City.

In his time at Diamond Lake, Dravok has witnessed the blatant corruption and lawlessness of the mine managers, gangs, and politicians. He believes the Free City should take greater action to bring order to the town. Its conduct is a blight upon the reputation of the Free City. This conflicts with Trask, who is concerned that his office and soldiers will be dragged into the same corruption as the rest of the town if he takes action.
