The time has come. The Fragrant Rose has been rebuilt. Moto Echuu has picked his cast, and the play in question is at least in theory "The Ballad of the Shiotome's Heart". In theory because this is a Lot Play. The sake and shochu will flow freely. The food will be plentiful, and everyone is expected to let down their guards just a little and enjoy themselves.

The Fragrant Rose is a relatively sizeable Sake House, and it has been redecorated after it was almost demolished by a certain unfortunate bar crawl ended here. Now, it has been temporarily turned into a Kabuki house, for one evening only! The rows of seats still surround tables, aligned with the short ends of the tables towards a raised stage, and a crowded back room holds props and costumes for the busy stagehands.

OOC This will be a slow-form scene running from Thursday to Saturday. For the most part it will be a chance to mingle and meet with other PCs and perhaps talk to some NPCs (Other GMs are welcome to bring their people). Moto Echuu and his wife Moto Mönkhtuyaa will be there, for one. As well, a number of PCs have been invited to perform, based on how they did in the auditions. They are welcome to share their snippets of performance or even interact in play form as part of the whole thing.

You will receive 1 XP for attending and engaging with this event. Actors will gain an additional XP if they engage with the Play and each other, and may even gain Glory!

Other rewards will be relatively limited, but there may be opportunities for various gains or losses, depending on how things go and what people get up to.

As well, this will be run in a main channel and people will be encouraged to rp in threads and the main channel alike.
