Born to a Mirumoto line shaped by discipline and quiet expectation, Tsukiko was raised with a careful hand and a sharper mind. Her parents, both practiioners of the Two-Heavens style, emphasized restraint as much as skill, teaching her that a blade drawn too soon is as dangerous as one drawn too late. Their deaths came early in her life, leaving her to carry those lessons without guidance, refining them into something more measured…and more solitary.
Her training marked her as capable, though not typical. Where other students moved with fluid confidence, Tsukiko was known to observe, to wait, and to act only when certain. Some mistook this for hesitation. Those who witnessed her in earnest knew better.
During her travels, she once found an injured dog left to die along the roadside. She chose to stay, tending to it until it recovered, and it remained by her side for years thereafter. Though it has since passed, the experience left its mark. Dogs respond to her with an ease she does not find among people, and she shows them a quiet patience she rarely extended elsewhere.
Now stationed in the City of Rich Frog under the authority of Tondo Kuma, Tsukiko serves with the same deliberate care that defines her every action. She speaks little, observes much, and commits only when she believes the moment demands it. She is most often found where others are not: beneath open sky, watching the slow movement of stars overhead and mapping out the constellations.
Those who meet her often remember her eyes first: clear, pale blue, and difficult to read. In a land where such a trait is uncommon, they lend her an air of quiet otherness.
