Kaito Kiyomi is a young shrine keeper of Sanpuku Seidō, a miko raised among frost-bitten cliffs and whispering bells. Soft-spoken and observant, she moves through sacred spaces with a quiet assurance that puts pilgrims at ease and unsettles malicious spirits. The kami seem drawn to her even by Kaito standards, lingering close and responding readily to her presence; when she opens herself to them, her eyes take on a pale violet glow, and are otherwise the colour of wisteria in early bloom. Kiyomi finds peace in small rituals—preparing tea, mending charms, cleaning, greeting the dawn—and believes harmony is preserved as much through kindness as vigilance.
Though she has spent most of her life in the northern mountains, Kiyomi carries a deep curiosity about the wider world and the many ways the kami are honored beyond Phoenix lands. Compassionate to a fault and slow to judge, she prefers to calm unrest rather than confront it directly—but beneath that warmth lies the clear, steady stillness of ice, ready to rise if the sacred is truly threatened.
