He is the firstborn of Annika Bersk, from House Bersk. They are a newly made house in the magocratic city of Veltalar (her mother is a sorceress, of humble origins but with the discovery of her powers, she got herself a husband, a title and a house).
Ivor has not shown any signs of sorcery so he had decided to help his family ascending the social pyramid by using his charm and his skills in the bureaucratic office; and so he did for some years.
One day though, something changed, powers were discovered yet not entirely his, so he decided to travel in search for glory, fame, power and riches in order to get back and keep on helping his family.
Apparently, he loves: himself, his family and draconic creatures.
Life in Loudwater is nice, but that's not what I wanna tell you
I have had two close encounters with the cult of the dragon, in a faraway land northeast from here. My eyes laid on a powerful green dragon, the Maimed Virulence, Vorgansharax
I feel closer to find a way into the cult. The first part of my plan will be succesful. Master will be pleased.
Vroom vroom
What the hell was even that? We got transported to Avernus into a hellish car race. Not funny.
I wanted to meet the Duke's son instead.
As the Giants threat became more real than ever, the need for a here felt urgent.
It is in this occasion that I stood up against the larger people.
Going around the land, looking for more allies, strategising with the chief captain, offering the occasional warmth: those were the many ways in which I enabled the citizens to see another day.
Killing Big Fruul, finally, was just the cherry on top of my heroic deeds.
Ivor
As a new month begins, the day after I turned older, I cannot but see a bright future ahead for my family name and me.
May Bersk become a synonym of power, respect and fame.
Back to Phlan.
This ravaged town has changed. Brambles are around, the dragon must have made his lair here.
We were sent to save 3 people.
A halfling merchant, a half-elf lord, and a human warrior, each representing three aspects of the city: commercial, knowledge and guards.
The woman, Greycastle, decided not to come back with us.
We also found some kids, imprisoned in a building but the others decided to rather focus on the mission.
We fought two blue slaads. I don't feel really good after taking a claw by one of them.
I am closer to my goal, yet questions are still growing in number in my mind.
Why are red wizards and dragon cultist working together? Where is their base of operations?
What is the purpose of a pool of radiance?
But if there is a person capable of shedding some light, it would be me.
A second wave.
Someone must be really hating our presence here.
Am I safe? Should I stay alert? Maybe I should start investigating, even if I am not payed to.
What was supposed to be a normal day at the Syndacate, became hell on earth.
Goblin and devils attacked. Imps infested the corridors.
Why? I don't know. And apparently I am not payed to know.
P.S
Being able to open portals from the Far Realms really helps.
We arrived in Phlan where a member of the Black Fist asked us to investigate some fellows members in order to check if those had been unloyal to their group.
We couldn't even start that an adult green dragon, the Maimed Virulence, attacked the city with his following of dragon cultist.
One way or the other, we managed to save part of the citizen and the Lord Regent, but many were lost in the process.
In the end we fought a woman on a Wyvern, shielded by a big construct. Alvis died in the fight.
I am not a man of faith, I doubt the gods spend their eternal time watching over us and judging every move.
They might look once or twice, a bit more if someone's life becomes is full of exciting adventure with world-altering stakes, but apart from that, it's everyone for themselves.
Said that, I respect the draconic pantheon more than the others.
That's why I have a feud with those who use the dragons' names carelessly. Such as those priests.
Luckily, it turned out fine.
Never mess with a gorgon.
That's what I learned as I was coming back from the Syndacate, directed to Loudwater.
You mess with the priest of Tempus and the warlock with the draconic gift, you get destroyed.
That's what happened.
