Ivor and Agrate walking through Loudwater happen upon a gruesome scene of a staff member of a noble house dead in the street with three puncture wounds to his back. An angry noble man tries to get the crowds to dispurse as they are in front of his home.

Meanwhile a shaken woman grapples onto Ivor for safety claiming she was frightened and asked if he was the authorities. Ivor attempts to find out who the dead man was and the noble man pushes through and confronts him. The woman swaps Ivor's shoulder for the hulking nobles. After words exchange and a slack look on the noble's face thinking it was because Agrate landed on Ivor's shoulder, the man collapses on top of Ivor, pooling blood from a nick under his arm. The woman no where to be seen as she ducked through the crowd.

Amidst the chaos, Ivor pulls the man to the side of the street and makes his way toward where the woman went. She has had time to set herself up on a rooftop taking aim from a hidden position and firing three times at Ivor. Striking with advantage on the first, missing the second, and bringing him down on the third bolt from her crossbow. Ivor makes death saves, Agrate stays near him, the woman vanishes.

With one fail and one success, Ivor's third save is a Nat 20 and he becomes aware of his surroundings. The woman is gone and the carnage and blood is still in the streets of Loudwater. Hopefully things were learned.
