Dungeons and Dragons, Dragons and Dungeons. Two things that can't be separated. The Syndicate has heard that one needs slaying and the other needs raiding or perhaps it was laying and invading. We don't know, the Kobolds wrote it down. Anyways, we got a job. Now we need people doing it.

We went to a city that has been taken over by a green dragon and his cult, sent to gather 3 People of importance. We first gathered that of an older woman, before getting a half elf. When we reached the third person... We had to fight through some knights and Blue Slaad, just for her to storm off, most likely to her death. It doesn't matter much, we still got paid, and that's what matters to me.
Back to Phlan.
This ravaged town has changed. Brambles are around, the dragon must have made his lair here.
We were sent to save 3 people.
A halfling merchant, a half-elf lord, and a human warrior, each representing three aspects of the city: commercial, knowledge and guards.
The woman, Greycastle, decided not to come back with us.
We also found some kids, imprisoned in a building but the others decided to rather focus on the mission.
We fought two blue slaads. I don't feel really good after taking a claw by one of them.
A request came through for us to rescue some nobility from a green dragon and their cult I believe. We were being sent to Phlan by the Five Factions, a city that has become the green dragon's, Vorgansharax, the Maimed Virulence, lair. He is on the older side of adult dragons, nearer to ancient. We are set to rescue a Madame Freona, Lord Sage, and Sir Jhessail Greycastle. Madame Freona has been putting together a resistance while Lord Sage is a leader of the scholar district, impounded in the Mantor's Library, and Sir Greycastle former commander of the Black Fist, although some members betrayed the organization and became Tears of Vriulence. We were to be teleported directly into Phlan and spells to teleport in the city do not work.
Before heading out, we prepared and determined what we were aiming to do first and foremost. We decided to try to avoid combat as much as possible. It seems Biscuit is...apprehensive about killing others.
We were teleported away and arrived in a stone room with a teleportation circle below us. It goes out as indication that teleportation outside the city is impossible. We started our infiltration quietly, sending Agrate ahead to scout out when we heard someone calling for help. I told them to ignore it. We weren't here to be heroes. We were here for a recovery mission.
The entire town was covered in bramble bushes that made navigation hard but we managed. Avoiding tricks and getting Madame Freona and Lord Sage. Sir Greycastle was another matter as she is an idiot that has a death wish. No wonder she was betrayed if all she can think about is revenge. That's a terrible quality for a commander to have so it's much more understandable why they changed sides after speaking to her.
Danger lurks around every corner, and I perhaps have gotten myself in over my head. Introducing myself to Ivor, Azrael, Jax, and Salviron, we got teleported into the town of Phlan. The Five Factions hired us to retrieve and rescue three people of import, Madame Freona, Lord Sage, and Sir Jhessail Greycastle, all for different reasons. The city itself was plagued with a green dragon taking over, ensnaring it with thick brambles, making the city their own. Vorgansharax is their name.
Initially, discussing plans, Sal took immediate charge of the situation, and let us know just how important it was to get in and get out, avoiding combat where necessary. I was asked if I would kill someone, and I... Didnt have an answer. I still dont know if I could...
We were teleported into a basement, before climbing out and trying to determine what the fastest route would be through the city. Deciding to get Madame Freona first at her tavern, we started through... we heard screams, begging for help, but... didnt go to save anyone, focusing on our mission. We found and convinced Freona to join us, thankfully, before heading after the Sage. The tower he was trapped in was covered in brambles, though, I was able to teleport inside. After 30 minutes of not finding him, I eventually called out, begging him to show himself and letting him know we were here to save him. He did show himself, and I was able to get us both out with my... family's ability.
The final one was the hardest to get to, as we came up with a lot of plans that, ultimately, didnt pan out. I helped unlock a few doors, before we traveled as a group down a long hallway. A glyph went off, and we had to rush further down, right into a battle pit. The dragon forced us to fight these nasty giant blue toads, and we managed to survive and save Jhessail. Though... she didnt want to come with us. She did tell us the way out, though!
We saved two of them, at least, and the Five Factions were happy about that.
