Marked at birth with a crescent upon her brow, Tsukiko was raised at a secluded shrine overlooking the Kaskadi Sea as the last apprentice of an aging Sacred Steward, one of the spiritual guardians entrusted with preserving the ancient rites of Spirit Honoring and maintaining the old traditions surrounding the Mother Tree. Accompanied by an ember fox believed to be a messenger of the spirits, she has spent her youth tending forgotten shrines, guiding wandering souls, and studying the delicate balance between mortals, ancestors, and the primal spirits that dwell throughout Stone Rampart. Though whispers claim the moon mark is an omen that she will one day inherit the mantle of Sacred Steward or perhaps guide her people through a coming age schism and doubt, Tsukiko refuses to seek power. She believes true leadership is not inherited by fate or omens, but earned through wisdom, compassion, and service.
