Ancestral Item: The Hallway Star - Inside the small orb is not flame, but a tiny candlelit hallway lined with closed doors. The Effect: The Aperture - The Hallway Star contains a tiny corridor. When Cassian turns it or whispers a command, the hallway inside the globe lines up with the real world and casts a door-shaped aperture onto a surface. It's a window, not an actual portal.

His House and Family:
Cassian and his twin sister, Calissa, were born in the (Area) to Eladren Octious a (City/state) Council member and son of ( Legendary hero Archmage who sacrificed himself in recent massive conflict), and his wife, Selene Octious.

Cassian and Calissa entered the (Academy) at an unusually young age, though Cassian was admitted a year before Calissa, making him the youngest student ever accepted to the (Academy). He graduated with the highest honors and first in his class. Calissa later joked that more than once, a student mistook her for her brother and began asking questions about threshold theory before realizing their mistake.

Before the twins left home, their Grandfather (ancient hero) entrusted them with the Two Hallway Stars, the ancestral Octious relics said to contain a corridor no living architect had ever built.
