Two Hundred and Six
13 Marpenoth, 1502 DR
Doctor Victor von Frank of a manor north of Waterdeep requested our services. His creation, his "monster," had escaped over desperation to explore the world despite the tight leash. The poor thing didn't even have a name, so I will refer to it as Ivor henceforth. Despite this being the butler's name.
We followed the leads of the townsfolk to a chapel, where a small militia had formed. The townspeople were enraged about the rampage of Ivor, wanting the monster dead and scaring it with fire. We calmed them enough to let us pass, though the fighters inside were less eager to comply. Through some magic and combat, we subdued Ivor while knocking the townspeople unconscious, and scurried through the woods unseen with our quarry.
The doctor paid us quite well for our services. Though it feels more of bounty hunting rather than a job well done. I do hope Ivor can raise against his father and live a satisfying life of his own. -Sylkran "Sylk" Teke'zynge

The group of us used the teleportation circle to head to Waterdeep, before traveling north. Apparently, our services had been requested by the Doctor... Arriving at the manor, we were greeted by a little goblin guy who let us in and took us to the parlor, where we met Dr Von Frank. He explained his circumstances, and how his greatest creation/son had fled his home, and how he wanted us to bring him back. Seemed... simple enough, as I helped track this creature through to another local town...
Wuyon'e pulled a commoner aside to ask about the creature, and he informed us that the thing squeezed a man so hard his bones turned to paste. This unfortunate soul, Jeff, was now in a bag, and the entire town wanted justice for Jeff. So much so that a contingent had formed just outside the church where the thing was hidden. Alvis did a good job talking to them, trying to get them to disperse as we all headed inside.
Seemed as though there were already a group of civilians inside trying to kill him. Everyone got to work, and the others handled the creature while I took care of the city's militia. I didnt kill anyone, of course, as they did nothing wrong, save for trying to kill me.
We subdued the creature, brought it back to the Doctor, and were paid....

We were called to the manor of a guy named Victor von Frank. He said his creation got loose in the nearby town and he wanted us to go get 'em. Didn't think much of it, so off we went.
We made it to a chapel where the townsfolk were up in arms with pitchforks and torches and shit. Had to knock some of 'em out so we could chase after the big guy.
We found him, knocked him out, and brought him back to Victor. Something just.. didn't feel right. But we did our job and got paid. So.. that's that I guess.
We were summoned by a Dr. Von Frank to rescue his... child? Thing? Creation? Was huge monster. Somehow living, made of some twisted magics i could not identify. Had strength enough to kill man, squash him completely, and was somehow immune to being held by spell that holds... almost anything.
We arrived at Dr.'s mansion, he introduce to us and tell us his child had got away. Was big creature, he said, but did not say would be dangerous. When we went to chase after, discovered town was in riot, because monster had killed man, named jeff. Rioters were going to kill creature. Shot me, but Dalninuk create portal and we escape. We manage subdue creature, bring back to Dr. We were paid for mission and left there.
Was unsettling, however, how doctor spoke of his creature. But, we were not paid to interfere with father and... son. We were paid to get son back. And so we did. Was it good decision? unsure. Feels too much like bounty for liking of mine.
I am good at kill things. Or keep things alive. But not both on same thing at same time.
