Quest Focus: Combat / Recovery
Warning: My Spirit of Vengeance Questlines are combat-focused and challenging/deadly. There is risk of death, but I'm careful with balancing encounters so it will be up to the party to work together.

The dead of the North Road have been brought home thanks to the party of Arthur, Jerrod, Kejora, Morban, Obiana, and River. Brindle and Moss (the draft horses) have been returned to their stable, and every undead creature responsible for guarding the stolen bodies was destroyed.

For a time, it seemed the matter was finished. Then, while tending to the recovered horses, Bram discovered a narrow iron plate sewn beneath one of their harnesses. It bears a shipment number, a route marker, and four deep cuts scored into the metal.

The same numbers were found fastened to the belongings of the recovered dead. The route marker points toward an abandoned building hidden along an old forest road. If whoever expected the shipment realizes it has failed to arrive, they may already be destroying the evidence... or preparing another collection.

Adventurers are needed to seize the place, overcome any resistance, and recover whatever bodies, records, or other evidence remain before they can be removed or burned.

Primary Objective: Secure the site and recover its contents.
Secondary Objective: Prevent the destruction of evidence and the escape of enemy couriers.

Someone counted Dawnport’s dead before their graves were dug.
