Spider nest about 4 hours travel from Dawnport

**What actually happened?**

We were tasked to kill the spider king, the guild found the location of it nest and we were given the opportunity to do it. And this is ny first quest together with familiar Pipi the Raven! Unfortunately, Kejora was not here to help us anymore...

The nest was inside a cave, i learned my lesson not to burn anything, I warn everyone to be careful around the webs not to burn them recklessy, but Jarrad did it And we wera swarmed by spiders.

And For some reason everyone keep missing their attacks, Especially Jarrod! fortunately for them this fire lady have come to help them but with the sacrifices of Pipi the Raven... Phobus did kill some spiders and so do i. Arthur passed out from the Spider attack and managed to wake up from near death situation, good for him.

After most of the spider was killed... The spider king emerged from the deep of it nest. Surprisingly Jarrod got the kill, without giving the spider kings any turn to move, i guess All of his missed attack was him charging up his trump card.

In the end, everyone else looted what inside the spider nest, I got a quatz from it, Yeaay free stuff! We concluded the quest with Victory on our hands

**What actually happened?**

The party was on a ship that crashed upon heading to Dawnport, landed a bit away within the same continent. Which make it easier to know the way back. The boat has a Merchant that hired the Adventurers on boat to help him make safe travel back to Dawnport which that is when the party arrives at a Cave. Needing to ensure the safety of the path for the Merchant's travel. We were tasked to clear the way beforehand.

Upon arrival, Obiana took the lead of investigation not being mindful of the other and investigated further without informing them. Obiana investigated an old structure room while avoiding tripwire, although didn't inform the others about the trap making them fall upon entering. Obiana learned her lesson from here on. The old structure, had secret room that was found by Kejora, that has 2 booby trap attached to it, and most failed to disarm. It contains 25 gold, a healing potion and an animal pelt and but Obiana only took the gold and the potion.

Afterwards, the party travelled further inside the cave. Traumatized with the spider webs from previous quest, obiana inspected a bunch of dead bodies and decided to burn them with fire bolt, The party ended up facing a few Spiders, killed them and bullied them (Especially Villiarra) before meeting a bunch of goblins that ambushed the party (kind of?)

Obiana was silent the entire time but already in her battle stance, ready for another battle. Until words was traded between the Goblin and the Party, Omii was successful at persuading the Goblin to let the party through with the promise of payment that didn't go through as the Party fumbled. It was figured out that the Party had taken the Goblin's secret stash. Viliarra ended up casting [Charm Person] to ease the goblin leader, eventually, Obiana felt guilty for the goblin and gave them back the looted item before leaving the cave. The party then split in two, Yen'sen, Omii and Kejora decided to go back and meet the merchant while the rest waited at the exit.

But before leaving the cave Obiana got curious about the book collection of the goblins. She investigated them, most of it just a basic guide to survive. But one book stood out, it was written in draconic. As she took the book, The bookshelf opened a new path to another secret room. As always it has tripwire but this time Obiana already prepared and informed the others about it.

Upon entering, Obiana found 2 magic scrolls One was blank but usable, another was a magic shield. Obiana's magic scholar instinct kicks in and decided to take them back with her. Then she noticed the floor was a bit fluffy. It was a polar bear pelt a very expensive one, so she called for Villiarra to help her take it with them and leave the cave.

In this quest Obiana learned as an adventurer we need to be very informative towards party members, and every action have it own consequences directly towards self or towards the others.

  Quest occasion:
  The quest started meeting a lot of strangers who just started becoming adventurers like me except for River who already here before us, which is the adventures involved in the quest a bit awkward for first meeting, but then We were given the quest of finding an Civilian that went missing for 2 days in the forest, north to Dawnport, which is 2 Woodcutter and a Lumberjack, The quest was lead by River as he is the senior and guide for us in this quest we discovered the forest itself was full of spider nests.

  We investigated the forest in order to find the missing civilian, we found some weird big cocoons the same size as humans clustered around the forest, it was suspicious so we tried to open it, the discovery was very surprising, the first cocoon was full of baby spider, they all crawled out to Kejora's hands and ran away right after. The second cocoon, we found a corpse..., we tried to make sure that this wasn't our Target by looking for belongings that were still available and found a carpenter tools, which was one of the missing persons, we retrieved the belongings so does the corpse. Then the third cocoon, we found the second woodcutter in an unconscious state and a bite mark of a spider.

  Consequently, by opening the cocoon it triggers signals towards every spider nest, making the 5 great wolf spider aware of our existence, we were surrounded, forcing us to initiate a battle with them, we managed to survive it out, Villiarra almost died but got healed by Kejora's spell, as the battle become intense and dangerous suddenly a new stranger came to help, which was Phobus, with his long ranged attack he saved Villiarra from death. But credits shall be given to the most contributed we were guided and carried by sir River the palladin faking to be a bard, I never knew we could kill a spider just by shouting them into confusion.

  After the battle,a screech of a massive spider can be heard giving Me, River and Phontus chilled on our spine. It was a screech of warning knowing something big would come. We decided to speed up the investigation further by splitting to make it faster find, Me and Sir River, Phobus went alone and The other followed Kejora since they injured. The fourth cocoon was opened by Kejora and contains a corpse as well, but it was already rotten for maybe more than two days. The Fifth was opened by River deep into the back of the forest, we found the old lumberjack still alive, gasping for air, so we saved him. The last cacoon was opened by Phobus, it has bandit it in, but we just left him alone since we wanted to escape before the Big spider come.

  We finally retrieved everyone, but then a loud screen can be heard from 120 feets away from the entrance of the forest, It was the Mother Spider, the size of 30ft. We all got into an argument, whether to fight it or not. River, Phobus and I wanted to fight the massive spider, but the other didn't since they injured and had to carry a corpse and an unconscious person. We ended up escaping the scene, But River and I gave a spell cast to dmg it a bit, while Kejora cast a smoke spell to distract the spider from noticing us escaped.

  To conclude The quest we safely escorted the retrieve civillian back to the guild for completion. It was a success even tho we were too late to save the first person from being a victim of the spider, we did retrieve what was quested.
