Previous section: Introductory Information
All documents, files, and materials utilized in The Glassfang Syndicate are the intellectual property of their original authors, and are protected by applicable copyright laws.
Absolutely no harassment, instigating, antagonizing, or witch hunting. Sexism, racism, or hate speech will not be tolerated.
This includes posting in the server or DMing fellow members.
We are here to escape the real world!
Unless specified by protocol, do not ping any roles. Only ping @admin in an emergency (server raid, spam, etc)
While we are an 18+ server, we are not that kind of server. This rule applies to both OoC chats, and RP. For reference: the expletive 'Fuck!' is allowed, but detailed descriptions of doing so is not. If you are unsure, err on the side of caution
Let the DM know if you're going to be late or if you need to step away mid-session; don't interrupt other players on their turns; let everyone share the spotlight; etc
DMs have the final say on the mechanics in their adventures. Any questions or concerns about a ruling can be posted in #dnd-questions or #dnd-mechanics-chat after the adventure. Any server-wide rulings will be added to House Rules
Your in-character knowledge is going to be separate from your out-of-character knowledge. While all text RP and discussions are readable by all players, your character only knows the information if they were present for the RP.
Use avrae in text, and set your roll20 rolls to 'public' unless otherwise requested by the DM.
Do not turn any IC conflict into OoC conflict. This includes: excluding a player from adventures or non-PC focused plots because your PCs do not get along; treating lack of OoC availability as IC neglect; hostility towards another player or their PC if unfavorable commentary is made about your PC IC or OoC.
Your PC may be required to work with PCs they don't like; or a player may have an OoC boundary you need to be mindful of. As the only one who controls your PC, it is your responsibility to keep them flexible enough, or to find narrative reasons, to work within common limitations.
Some times people may not be up for a dramatic scene. Consent is ALWAYS key for heavy RP. Err on the side of caution if unsure.
If there is a problem with another player's conduct, please follow the appropriate channels and submit a ticket in #ticketing.
