Our party was summoned by Lady Yalah Gralhund of Waterdeep to assist in political affairs and the betrothal of her son, Zartan Grulhund. The son was meek and weary from the prospect of being married to Charrin Tesper, the sole heir of the Tesper family and Lord Armult Tesper's niece.**** We were asked to ensure the first date went smoothly. And to our credit, it did. Aber, Alvis, Azrael, Mimsy, and I (Sylk) should start a business in date planning. Though for now we will settle for establishing a teleportation circle on behalf of the Syndicate within Waterdeep.

We escorted Zartan from his home and down to the markets to prepare for a legendary date while learning about the timid soul. He admitted to loving to read about history, of the Mulharundi ruins, the Spell Plague, and the Cataclysm. He had a paramour at the Midnight Remedies shop that sold him narcotics. He couldn't handle whiskey. A young man, weighed down by the responsibilities of nobility. I can relate, and I do hope he is able to either embrace his role with a genuine smile, or find an opportunity to escape. All I could do was sew the seeds of his future.

With a carriage ride, perfume, honey, and liquid courage, Alvis and I watched over Zartan and Charrin's meeting, and brought the two to Waterdeep's City of the Dead. Aber and Mimsy prepared a beautiful date spot for the two in a private garden. And Azrael, to my knowledge, did nothing illegal. The date was perfect, and Zartan asked to see Charrin home by himself. We should not have said yes, as Lady Yalah was furious her son hadn't returned home with us. Sending spells on him didn't work, and Charrin did report he bid her farewell. Our best suspicion was the Midnight Remedies with his paramour.

Ravora Darksbane was less of the charmer and more of the enchantress. When arriving, we realized the magic at play and her vampiric status immediately. A fight ensued. Rats nibbled our ankles and vampire spawns attempted to thwart us. No casualties on our part were had, and only one spawn escaped into the night. But a shellshocked Zartan survived. We promised not to tell his mother anything and patched him up. Then looted the now abandoned apothecary. Lady Yalah paid us for our services, and we returned to the Syndicate.

• Lady Nleera Tarannath Tesper: A focused woman, seemingly suspicious of the Gralhunds. Mother of Charrin.
• Charrin Tesper: The daughter of Nleera and the niece of Armult, and the sole heir to the Tesper family. Takes her role seriously, despite a history of romantic flings. Loves a special honey sold during Greengrass.

Departure: left the Glassfang Syndicate towards Waterdeep by teleportation circle. arrived at Gralhund villa under disguise to avoid guard notice and to receive the brief. Brief: obtained from Lady Gralhun. assist Zartan in the courtship process with Charrin.

Brief: inquire information about Zartan from the source to increase accuracy of the courtship. Note: enjoys reading, history (surrounding perimter of Waterdeep), anthropology (spellplague, cataclysms, molharondy), and herbs (types not mentioned). New directive: offered moral boost at a bar and acquire the necessary tools for the courtship process. Items obtained: 2x carriages, jar of honey.

New directive: prepare the courtship area within the City of the Dead. used the magical deck to create a resting space, limited perimeter, and materials of study to increase courtship efficiency. Observation: preparation offered successful results. New directive: share the progress with Lady Gralhun while Zartan escorts Charrin to her home.

Observation: brief required the returnal of Zartan with us. New directive: locate Zartan and bring back home. Note: Zartan showed deep interest in the location Midnight Remedies. Directive update: investigate herb shop as first point of interest. Observation: found Zartan half-disrobed with Ravora, the owner. Note: traces of blood on her face and pale complexion has been notice. Result: Ravora is of undeath status. threat detected.

I went back to my home, Water deep. It was a hell of a day, we had to help with a romance between to families, little did I know it would not be the easy trip home I was hoping for. Of course, I met up with a friend, got a bit of honey for myself and the kid, and also took a small detour to the graveyard. It went rather well, I gathered 4 more bodies and came back to the group to see a job well done.

Of course, they let the kid go off on his own, and who would have guessed that he went straight to a VAMPIRE! So, of course we had to fight it off... and who would have guessed, I walked out barely alive. If I was to say how close I was to being unconscious, 50 being Perfectly fine, and 0 being on the floor dying, I was a 2. Although, I am glad that I was able to assist the others in the fight, and even keep one up with a spell, although sadly that page was torn up in the battle... I wonder if I will ever relearn it...

We have been called upon once again as part of our contract to make a deal for the Syndicate to have access to a teleportation circle in Waterdeep.

We were called upon once again to further assist in the prospective engagement between the Zartan and Charrin.

The Lady Tesper had us escort the Zartan and help him with his courtship of the Lady Charrin. We took the lad to the market. got to know him a bit better. He is bright one. but, he seemed to have a brightbird. an herbalist. but! it was just a passing interest. so after talking we convinced the Zartan to give the date with the Lady Charrin a shot. We split once again. The Mimsy, Aber and Azrael went of to set up a nice spot for the courting. whilst the Sylk and Myself escorted the Zartan to the Tesper Villa. The Lady Charrin. She is a very strong willed one. but Alvis thinks she and the Zartan have chemistry yet.

The date went well! at the end the Zartan asked us to allow him to escort the Lady Charrin home by himself. . . if you know what Alvis means So! naturally! we abbliged! we went to go report great success back with the lady Yalah. She was not pleased however that her son did not return home with us. I thought she maybe happy the date went so well? but at her insistence we went to retrieve her son. We sent the lad and he never responded. the lady Charrin said he had left not to long ago. this smelled like trouble.

we set out to locate the Zartan. we had a strong suspicion he went to the herbalist. . . .it would turn out we were right. and it would also turn out. the herbalist was a disgusting vampire. He was under her charm you see! her fangs in his neck as we walked in the door. A great fight broke out! the battle was a bloody one for certain. rats and thralls surrounded us. BUT WE EMERGED VICTORIOUS! and the Zartan was recovered. and we mage agreement. That we would keep this incident between all of us..
