Though a devoted follower of Mitra-Satsil, Zaremon was never a cleric, instead, he believed that divine power could be understood and applied to fight fiendish possessions. Eventually, that conviction brought him face to face with something far beyond his experience. What Zaremon believed to be another infernal possession proved to be the work of a fiend vastly more powerful than he anticipated. Still, the exorcism worked, just not as intended. The fiend turned the rite upon him, and instead of being banished itself, Zaremon was cast into Hell.
