Her downfall came with a noblewoman’s secret visit - the woman begged for a potion to rekindle her husband’s love, and Griselda provided a draught meant to strip away self-deception and awaken the heart’s true desire. The potion worked exactly as intended - the husband, long in love with another woman, abandoned his wife without hesitation.

Furious and humiliated, the noblewoman claimed betrayal. She used her influence, her coin, and her fear of scandal to turn the authorities against the hag. Accusations of witchcraft, manipulation, and treasonous magic followed swiftly, and just as swiftly came the guards with a harsh judgement.
