Masks: A New Generation
The classmates reconvened, after their separate adventures in space and the faerealms, at Poppy Way.
They make their way to the Meow Maid Cafe*,* a cat-maid cafe whose cats have all gone missing!
There Sapphire meets her friend Cindy, who tells them their cats suddenly ran away and left the cafe in the middle of the night!
Cindy's Mom, however, believes they were somehow kidnapped and lured away by the dog-butler-bar across the street, Bark Butler Bar, owned by her ex-husband. But when they go across the street to talk to her ex-husband: they find that all his dog-butlers have disappeared too!
Using Ashlette's DNA tracker, with samples of hair from the disappeared cats and dogs, the party tracks the missing pets into the sewers and the network of underground smuggling tunnels beneath Poppy Way. There they're able to find one of the missing kittens and rescue it from a pursuing dog! With Ashlette's cat-translator, they're able to talk to the kitten and learn that the cat & dogs are in a turf war for which animal species will have control over Poppy's Way! UNDERGROUND DEATH MATCH WHOEVER LEAVES THE SEWERS FIRST MUST LEAVE POPPY'S WAY FOREVER!!!
The classmates manage to convince Kitten to lead them to their HQ, but when they're arrived they're ambushed by the dogs!
The final battle between cats and dogs is about to erupt...but right before it does Jammer steps in to try to convince them to join forces because cats & dogs being friends are more cute than cats & dogs fighting and if they're friends they're get more treats from humans...but the cats and dogs don't understand these economic principles of collaboration for long-term financial gain and THE FIGHT BEGINS — or it is about to if Jammer didn't use her superspeed to distract them, like a laser-pointer, with them chasing her out of the sewers and back up onto the street! There Sapphire makes a similar but more emotional speech, appealing to Ms. Maid Cat Cafe and Mr. Dog Butler Bar to reunite in a lover-to-enemies-to-lovers situation...which is successful! They make out in the middle of the street, their cats and dogs playing with each other, just as the influencer Jester arrives and the moment goes viral!!!

After having a nice, late, celebratory lunch at the Cat Maid Cafe: the classmates continue in search of the last missing cats, who's actually one cat, who has been disguising themselves to be adopted by a different rich family every week and then robbing that family!
They go to Arcadia Towers, the highrise apartment building where the cat disappeared from last night (which the pattern indicates is where they'll rob tonight), and are let into the penthouse by the boy who lost his cat, who he knows as "Pinkie Pie". Ashlette's able to hack the apartment's security cameras and from reviewing/restoring the week of footage: they see the cat has been "casing the joint" for the week, specifically the safe in the boy's dad's office, and that it's been doing things no normal cat should be able to do, such as opening electronic locks with keycodes and hacking into computers. They decide to stake-out the dad's office and wait to catch the cat catburgler in-the-act, when he'll likely return tonight...
...but while they wait they have a pizza party! During which the boy, with the tactlessness of a child, asks Sunsword about the scar on his face. Sunsword reveals he got the scar from his abusive father and tells the boy to treasure the time he has with his (relatively speaking) good parents.
Night comes and, at around midnight, the cat catburgler sneaks into the apartment.
However, they immediately sense this is a trap (because Sunsword and Sapphire are terribly hidden) and escape!
A CHASE ENSUES involving elevator shafts, jumping off rooftops, and fights on the back of a space-bike...but eventually they capture the cat catburgler...who shapeshifts into a catboy! (Are they are boy who shapeshifts into a cat or a cat who shapeshifts into a boy?)
The cat catburgler explains they were robbing from the rich investors of the exploitative veteninary clinic PETCARE in order to fund independent animal shelters, but crime is still crime and the classmates hand him over to the authorities!

The next morning, they return to class where Detective Squeaks Gerbriles congratulates them all for finding the missing cats and articulates the lesson of this assignment: cats, and cat lovers, are weird and dangerous creatures! NEVER TRUST THEM!
Sol and Sapphire woke up in the Faerealm with the little girl Wendy, the chubby fairy Puck, and...no Sophie!?
Instead, they were met by a classmate they hadn't met before: Caspian, who seemed to know their way around the faerealm and offered to guide them to the Palace of the Summer Court.
But even with a guide, it was not an easy journey:
They had to trek through the Forrest of Friendship, whose mists tortured their minds with cries of help from their friends, trying to lure them off course!
They had to cross the River of Riddles, by giving a riddle to the bridge that had run out of riddles to ask.
They had to navigate the Cavern of Cuddles, which was actually a giant baby mountain.
Finally, they arrived at the Palace of the Summer Court — a castle made of glass where they was an eternal beach party!
After changing into the appropriate attire, they joined the party and went to meet the Princess of the Summer Court on her inflatable castle in the ocean, where she was surrounded by cats — including Wendy's catnapped kitty, Tinkerbell!
The Princess offered to return Tinkerbell if they could trade her something of equal value, but they had no posessions as cute as Tinkerbell (the second cutest kitty in the world after King Kitty ofc). Instead, they attempted to trade her business ideas: their idea of "gyms" being rejected, as fairies are all naturally hot and don't need to work out, but their idea of "a cat cafe sanctuary" being accepted.
Sol, Sapphire, Wendy, Puck, and Tinkerbell were returned to the human world on a chariot pulled by flying dolphins.
Caspian remained in the Faerealm...still looking for something...?
After passing the Trial of Intelligence, with some help from his loyal followers Ashlette and Sunsword, for membership in the F.U.A.F.P; King Kitty returned to his chambers to prepare for THE TRIAL OF COURAGE, where he would have to win in single-combat against the universe's deadliest creature: A MONGOOSE! Fortunately for King Kitty, when he returned to his chambers he was greeted by another servant to aid him in his quest: Capoira, who had been accidentally teleported to the F.U.A.F.P space station when the first attempt to teleport King Kitty had missed.
With the help of his followers, King Kitty training montaged to do battle with the fearsome Mongoose: Ashlette building him a suit of battle armor, Capoira covering that armor in protective poisonous thorned vines, and Sunsword sensei-ing him in martial arts. But the battle with the mongoose would come before the trial, as Capoira would accidentally let them escape from their room and the Mongoose attacked King Kitty in the hallway! Of course, King Kitty was able to defeat the Mongoose in single-combat — but the Greymalkins, who were spearheading the sect of the F.U.A.F.P who wanted to "de-evolve" the Earth, tried to get them disqualified for breaking the rules and fighting before the trial! The Greymalkins' argument that the Earthlings were violent barbarians was only reinforced by Capoira's angry attempt to punch the ambassador for the Greymalkins, which would've caused an intergalactic incident if he hadn't been stopped by Sunsword! The F.U.A.F.P ended up deciding not to disqualify Earth from the Membership Trials, since King Kitty had defeated the Mongoose in single-combat, but for breaking the rules they contained the Earthlings in their room for the rest of the trial.
Next was the TRIAL OF BEAUTY where King Kitty and his retinue had to select the piece of culture that best represented Earth...although they concluded that since art was subjective they had best select a piece of Earth culture that best reflected the values of the F.U.A.F.P which were PEACE, EQUALITY, and FRIENDSHIP.
Kitty Kitty wanted to select their Instagram account, since King Kitty is the most beautiful creature in the universe, but his retinue thought it would be better to select a musical performance, as music is the universal language (and King Kitty cannot sing even though an album of their autotuned meows has gone triple platinum). However, they couldn't agree on which music performance to select: Capoira wanting to choose the discography of Freddie Mercury vs Ashlette and Sunsword wanting to choose the discography of Michael Jackson. With no consensus being reached and only a few seconds left to make their decision, they all reached for the computer to make their selection — with Capoira being the fastest! Luckily, it turns our the F.U.A.F.P loved the music of Freddie Mercury (would they have loved the music of Michael Jackson more? we will never know) and they unanimously passed the Trial of Beauty!
Finally, there was the TRAIL OF SPEECH...which was unfortunate because right before the trial began, Ashlette's cat-translator broke!
However, with the Earth safe from "de-evolution" having passed 3/4 of the Trials, the party didn't care about passing the final trial to become a member of the F.U.A.F.P. and so they let King Kitty answer questions from each of the F.U.A.F.P member planets and make one final dramatic speech advocating for the dignity of Earth...in a series of gibberish meows. BUT HE WAS SO CUTE THAT THAT F.U.A.F.P DECIDED TO OFFER EARTH MEMBERSHIP ANYWAY but King Kitty turned them down, deciding that Earth was not yet ready to travel to the stars and should be allowed to keep evolving at its own pace (also he was tricked into pressing the "no" button because of Ashlette using a laser-pointer).
King Kitty and his followers Ashlette, Sunsword, Capoira, and Mongoose returned to Earth on Ashlette's spaceship having saved the planet from "deevolution", with King Kitty now officially recognised as "the leader of Earth" by the F.U.A.F.P!
Upon arriving at the meeting point for the yearly school trip Silver Fang, Will o' Wisp and Pandora were faced with a unexpected turn of events, the school had overlooked Pandora's size and booked only a small mini-bus since the expectation was of only having a few students join the school trip, luckily Pandora was able to accompany the bus on foot with ease due to her massive size and Chimera shaped body. During the bus ride Espurna sat at one of the windows and Silver Fang spent most of the ride on his phone, texting back his mentor, Cloud Runner, who suggested to his protégé to "have some fun! ;)".
As the small group arrived at the museum they were driven to the back entrance, where they were informed that they would not be joining the rest of the schools and students at the main museum area and instead would be tasked with learning about the security routine at the museum, by helping out the night time security guard in charge (a part-time college student who seemed very disinterested in that job).
They were each given a flash-light, a walk talkie and the rundown of what their rounds should look like and were also advised to not eat inside the museum, in order to protect the exhibits, which caused a small debate with Chimera who pointed out her need to eat and snack that since her transformation went beyond those of a normal human, asking for whether there would be accommodations for it during this school trip, to which the security guard suggested they could have a lunch break either outside or at the little staff room that would be alongside the end of the route they were given to monitor.
The security guard also mentioned that there were security cameras, but they were low quality and the images were not very good, but it didn't matter too much because the chances of anyone trying to steal from a museum now a days were very small, specially during one of the most active nights of the year for the museum, saying that the most likely event to occur would be dealing with a lost child who was separated from their teachers, or something along those lines. With that the team was send on their way to make their route, while the security guard said they should try to stay out of trouble and if anything happened just call on the walkies-talkies (while trying to shift all their labels with Danger down and Mundane up).
After starting their round, the group stayed on route with Espurna taking the lead, as they were the most familiar with the museum due to working there previously, after some time walking they decided to check out the Dinosaur Exhibit, a suggestion by Pandora, when they arrived there they found out that a there about 32 little kids who seemed to be around kindergarten age and about 2 very tired looking teachers who were overlooking the kids in that exhibit.
While assessing the situation and looking for Snake related information Silver Fang was able to find out about an Giant Boa species that was believed to be one of the predecessors of the current Kaijus to exist in Halcyon City. Pandora was able to pass unnoticed thanks to the teachers being very tired, but was found out by some of the kids who were very excited to meet her since they thought she was part dinosaur, which ended up with the kids asking Pandora a lot of questions and refusing to let go of her until she convinced them by giving the kids piggy back rides.
At that point they were starting to attract the attention of the teachers, so the group decided to get back on their security route. However they ran into some girls who were eating inside and seemed to recognize Pandora as the former captain of their swim team, they came over and emptied their bag of chips on the ground urging Pandora to eat it and calling her a freak (attempting to shift her labels with Freak up and Saviour down).
Medea and Lustre faced off against Artemis and Bonnet in a heated game of... beach volleyball. After some rounds, Medea and Lustre got the win earning themselves get out of 1 class for a day tickets. The Hare suddenly had to tend to a situation happening in town and the students were left on the beach. All of a sudden... a (baby?) kaiju makes an appearance causing some chaos. Commanding the kaiju is Dr. Venetus, self proclaimed villain with a goal of protecting the shoreline. The team, with Lustre taking lead, was able to convince her to take a more peaceful approach through campaigning and legislation.
