It was originally named "Poppy Way" for its many opium dens catering to wayward sailors, but that was back in the 1800s — although rumour has it that the smuggling tunnels beneath the street are still in-tact.

Now, Poppy Way has been gentrified into a glitzy tourist hotspot famous (or infamous) for its pop-up shops and novelty cafes. Some of these strange storefronts include:

• The Magic: The Gathering Magic Shop = a TCG card shop which also sells stage magic supplies.
• Felicity Salem, Professional Witch & Pet Psychic = The office for catgirl witch/psychic-for-hire Felicity Salem.
• The Skate-Fu Dojo = A dojo for skateboarding martial arts
• The Pookemon Cafe = an unlicensed Pokemon-themed cafe.
• The Meow Maids & Bark Butler Fairy Gym-Cafe-Bar-Animal-Shelter flagship location
