With a doctorate in anthropology and archaeology, much of Mina’s life has been dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge regarding historical artifacts and their uses/impacts on civilization. Most of Mina’s educational years were spent in the field, accompanying and leading various excavation crews for the sake of uncovering ancient objects of interest. After having contributed to the accumulation of a wide variety of magical historical items, Dr. Rouhani decided it was time to shift her focus towards the education and interpretation of these relics to the public. She accomplished this by becoming the head of the Halcyon History Museum’s magical artifacts department, and all the new relics she gained access to by doing this was totally just a coincidence. They are a person who is easily able to be fully consumed by their work, not due to a disinterest in others, but rather simply as a result of their intense dedication to her work. Despite this, Mina is an extremely caring person at her core for those who have caught her attention and managed to make a positive impression.

One such person who has fully cemented their place as one of Dr. Rouhani’s star researchers is Espurna Hanes. Meeting the young student on a 6th grade field trip to the HHM, Mina was intrigued by the level of insight and in-depth understanding Espurna had for artifacts that had just recently been placed on display. As Espurna’s visits to the museum grew more and more frequent Mina began to take on a mentor-like role for the ambitious teen, oftentimes offering up her personal research space or even home office to them when working long and late hours. Unsurprisingly, Mina did not take the news of the incident involving Espurna as Phoenix Academy very well. Left in disbelief over how the academy handled the fallout of the explosive situation, she pressed the museum’s head of staff Maxim Barkov to give the student their assistance however possible. This resulted in Espurna’s eventual transfer to Eclipse Academy as well as their continued employment at the HHM, keeping Mina’s prized researcher within her department. Careful not to let Espurna catch on to her doting, Mina tries her best to keep tabs on the student as they adjust to their new situation.
