(IC) Why did you join The Glassfang Syndicate?:
Luckyfoot is an archaeologist and specifically, his interest is in the ancient Netheril Empire which was located in what is now the Anauroch desert. The syndicate is based nearby, it will let him develop his skills and hopefully find reliable allies to lead into the desert on expeditions.

Luckyfoot was born and raised in Hardbuckler, having been adopted by a pair of gnomes after being left on their doorstep. He had a good, if somewhat lonely life, the relatively quick maturity leaving him struggling to make friends as he outgrew the ones he had quickly. He eventually felt the disconnect was too great and decided to strike out on his own, following in his parents footsteps to become both an archaeologist like his father and an adventurer like his mother. He still writes letters home, with his last explaining his next trip to investigate the syndicate and to see if it is the right fit for him.
