Arlis let us know that the Emerald Enclave was fighting off some force from a hamlet. We hurriedly headed out to assist.
Quickly heading out, we arrived at the hamlet, seeing the higher up figures in the Emerald Enclave. We spoke with them briefly, learning more of the rogue archdruid as was mentioned prior. He's destroying everything that can be called technological expansion. He's been controlling the animals to become more sympathetic to his cause and attack the enemies. The archdruid is Warden's brother, Dominic. They want us to bring him back alive preferably. Dominic defected, not seeing eye-to-eye on how the curent Emerald Enclave is being handled.
Dominic is up in the mountains and would like us to stop him, bringing him back alive.
As we traveled up the mountainside, I found various glyphs set up, blocking our path forward. After brief discussion, we all were able to fly and teleport out, me viper climbing on the side of the cliff instead. Then we came to a field of abominable yetis and winter wolves.
Of which I have researched extensively.
It was a bit of a touch-and-go situation but we managed to take them all out. We took a brief rest as Wuyon'e prayed and immediately continued forwards. A battle was ahead of us on a frozen lake where the council of the Emerald Enclave was fighting animated trees. We bypassed them as they looked to be succeeding and continued up the mountain.
We met with Dominic, who tried to speak with us in regards to joining his side but his idealology is not something I support. They've attacked far too many innocents to warrant us being on his side, and he has no empathy towards those that are simply trying to survive in this life instead of going after the ones that are the actual cause of this all. So we engaged in combat.
He fought with more yetis and wolves by his side but I captured him with Bigby's Hand and made him unable to act as he pleased. We proceeded to knock him out together and the Enclave leaders came up and rewarded us for capturing Dominic.

We went to a nearby settlement, close to the Greypeak Mountains, at the behest of one of the Syndicate members, Arlis. The place was in flames, and from the druids' tellings, the brother of one of them, an archdruid named Dominic, went rogue and started assaulting the farmhouses supplying Loudwater out of rebellion for people's nature to expand... ironic how a man of preserving nature would go against others'.
On the way up the mountain, we encountered magical wards, but with Salviron's magics, the group's overall perceptiveness, and my sweet boy Velkyn, we avoided the weather defense without much issue. Although the packs of yetties and wolves were not avoidable, it was quite a lengthy but successful fight.
The druids also came to our aid and held off more threats to come as we went directly for the archdruid... who was defended by more yetties and wolves. After an unsuccessful monologue and a near-death experience, but nothing more thanks to dear Wu and more bloodshed and magical antics, we apprehended the archdruid without killing them, as requested by Warden, his brother.
For our great success, outside the allyship of the Enclave, we were handsomely rewarded with magical items, more gold than I've ever gotten from one job... and some strange magical blessing. I need more jobs like this; I kind of like it.
This mission was too damn cold. Thank the Gods that Arlis had that windskip or I would have needed to stay behind, there was no way to cross that gap otherwise. We fought several yetis and snow wolves before travelling further up the mountain. The Emerald Enclave seemed grateful that we were willing to assist, but they seemed to have a small burning settlement under control, so we continued further to the Archdruid's den.
I am once again reminded that I am far better at violence than I ever was at talking things through. I did not mind bludgeoning that man. We were getting paid to do it. I didn't like having to take him captive, but, we were getting paid and the Enclave was sentimental. So we captured him alive.
I had thankfully managed to get Jabbress up, and she and Tealight did a good bit of damage to the yetis, allowing Salviron and I to get close to the Archdruid with magic in his case and steel in mine, and subdue him.
I met Falken of the Emerald Enclave on the road. He stopped me to request help save some hamlets that were being destroyed and set on fire. As quick as I fuckin' could, I arranged a team to meet the Enclave out there.
We learned that all of this was the rogue archdruid Dominic's doing. The Warden had asked us to bring his brother back alive. So we set out. We ran into some glyphs and wards that Sal had to navigate us through. Fortunately I had my fuckin' windskiff and managed to get Wuyon'e and me across.
Then got fuckin' jumped by Yetis and wolves. It was a hard fight and we coulda easily lost, but we managed to pull through. We passed through where the Enclave was fightin' some trees and kept 'em away as we rushed in to where Dominic was. He was holed up in some ruins. He tried to convince us to join 'em, but when we refused, he attacked and we attacked back.
In the end, we defeated him without killing him, and brought him back to the Warden. We were given a bunch of rewards and a blessing. But.. something tells me this isn't the complete end for Dominic.
