so long as it's not an evil mission
This is why they freed a necromancer from prison? This is why they killed those guardsmen?
We saved a village, there's no denying that. Without us, they would have been overrun. Maybe destroyed. But all we needed from that previous blunder was the intelligence. Intelligence that could have been gathered by investigating, that could have been gathered by reaching out to others, that could have been gathered a dozen different ways.
These biomechanical horrors, they're fierce, but there was never a moment of doubt. Never a moment where I thought we wouldn't make it. Azrael's responsible for that in no small part. Seeing the man turn himself into a mammoth - twice - is something to behold. It's a dangerous form. Breaks when his concentration does.
It's only as we see a goose, a strangely powerful goose, that Azrael reveals his secret; he's promised Phalor, the necromancer he broke out of prison, the necromancer that already has some form of research on how to biomechanically augment animals, that he would give Phalor the goose to study. The, may I write again, the strangely powerful goose.
There was an argument. We brought the goose back to the farmer. There was another argument.
Wuyon'e kicked me in the nuts for flipping her off after she began yelling.
Jue argued with Azrael to convince Phalor that he needn't take the goose.
It was all for naught.
Phalor dimension door'd the goose, kidnapping it, and it was all made irrelevant.
Gods help us all, their short-sightedness will kill us.
I am too beyond furious to properly write notes. All that is worth knowing is that we stopped the onslaught. I took several fireballs head-on and was grappled by a bear before I slaughtered it. I spent hours afterwards trying to help repair the village while Cyrus and Jue departed. For people who claim to care about civilians, they surely have odd way of showing it.
He's probably going to tell everyone I kicked him. And, I did. After he foolishly refused my healing magic, threatened our goals, put Azrael and I at risk, made degradingly obscene comments and gestures about Maze and Myself, Sabotaged a crucial deal related to our mission and spread dirty laundry about my abbil.
The foxes were new, they could burrow and shoot lightning. The snakes and Gorrila were new too. Azrael thankfully took down the Gorrila. I got Jue up from brink of death and she thanks me by sabotaging Azrael's deal with Phalor. At least Yap is competent and knows not to intervene against us in grave matter. I like Yap.
I managed to get some mechanical components for Erko, and Phalor made off with the goose. He will keep his deal, Azrael and I will ensure it.
Jabbress Viconia told me about some of her spiders that went missing and pointed me to another facility. We shall investigate when I can.

Jue was sent on a job for the syndicate to protect a village and some farmers from an attack by a cult. Said cult has created monstrosities/constructs and were testing them by sending them after the village. Some of Jue's party has seen the monstrosities/constructs before and is aware of their origin. Jue and party fought against them on a bridge, in a barn and on open fields. The enemies fought were, foxxes, Hounds, ravens (for this Jue believes, that cult should be destroyed to the last), pythons, bears and a wild Gryla of the Woods. Being on the frontline has seen Jue take hits again and again. Jue must invest in better armor or train more. The job was succesfull and the village and farms weren't destroyed though damage during the fighting.

Personal note:
Jue wishes to note that Jue did not agree with the agreement made by Azreal with the necromancer named Phalor. Though happened after the job was done and stands separate from it.

Job... take, less hour. Fast. Metal beast attack Bellwick, attack town, attack farm, attack fields, attack bridge... we, strategy, defend. Have green person, bomb. Have necromancer. Two help.
Start, defend bridge. Easy. Other place hold okay, some hurt. Farm do meh.
Then, defend farm. Prevent farm attack. Hard. Other place, still okay. Field, no defense, threat destroy.
Final, defend field. Gorilla, bear, metal beast. Very hard. Think, close death. But, we good. We help defend.
Azrael say... deal necromancer, give goose for help. Azrael, Wu, and Cyrus, Jue... talk, bad. Not agree. Not understand. Wu attack Cyrus.
Necromancer... teleport with goose. No one win.
But, town safe.
