Death. Death comes for us all. BUT not when you have a very big and gorgeous orc dancing lady. Ha, suck it, Death.
Well, simple mission. The Seer gave me, Ivor, and Vincel the task of going to Sevenstones to find information about an axe and some ruins.
We traveled to the Spine of the World. There, we found a stone giant carving in the rocks. He was called the Whispering Stone, and he had six obelisks around him — stone giants meditating. We talked for a while, and he told us where the ruins were.
When we got to where the ruins were supposed to be, there was only a very dark and deep hole. The ruins had somehow sunk into the ground, but we had climber’s kits with us, so getting down wasn’t much trouble.
At the bottom, there was this massive room with a statue, and it had diamonds for eyes, so naturally I stole them. I stole most of the gems from all the statues. Well… the ones before I died, at least.
While exploring, there were a lot of giant carvings on the walls. I only remember one showing a wedding, and another very weird one about stone giant births.
Eventually, we found the ghost of a stone giant. He was friendly — actually the founder of the place, the one who built it all. We even agreed to help him finish it someday, though it’ll take a long time.
After that, we carried this pole all the way to the doors. Took us sooo much time. Oh right, the pole. There was this 15-foot-long, incredibly heavy pole that somehow made us stronger whenever we used it as a lever.
So we spent ages carrying it around to open the doors, because they were meant for giants and were ridiculously heavy.
We reached another statue. There was a magical trap, but sadly Ivor couldn’t dispel it, so I went ahead and triggered it manually. It reversed gravity, but I was fast enough to anchor myself and avoid falling upward.
After that, we carried the pole again to the other side of the ruin — which was massive, by the way. We opened another door, and inside was a room full of gems. We looked around just long enough for some of the gems to crack open and summon two elementals right next to us: an air elemental and a fire elemental.
We managed to kill the air one quickly, with only Ivor and Agrate taking any real damage from it. The fire one was trickier. Just being near it burned me. It landed some nasty punches, and then the bastard simply walked up to me and engulfed me in flames.
And that’s how I died.
The rest is foggy, and I didn’t really ask the others about it, but I assume they found the information about the axe we were looking for. Then, while heading to the exit, this massive statue thing attacked them. I don’t know exactly what happened there, but I think my ghost was around, and Vincel got killed too.
In the end, both me and Vincel were dead.
