The alderman of Blasingdell -- a small mining town northwest of Mirabar, just south of the foothills of the Spine of the World -- has written in requesting aid against the banditry they've been suffering. The village sustains itself primarily on the income they get selling to Mirabar, but lately the roads have been less than safe. They aren't equipped to handle such a recurrent threat, and all they've been able to tell is that the bandits are not humans.

* __Cloak of Protection__: You gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws while you wear this unforgivably hideous thing. Made of tattered, patched canvas and stitched together with thick, coarse twine; a homelier cloak you’ll likely never see. The only exceptional component of this beastly thing is the saucer-sized black dragon scale that hangs over the wearer’s chest when the cloak is worn. It is glossy and bears a blatant Draconic sigil. * -8 DTP given for this adventure, due to having to clear rock debris for a day in order to get into the kobold warren.

Kobolds in the walls. a whole bunch of them. I got to burn a whole lot of kobolds on this day, as well as some paintings. I also managed to get a chromatic orb to triple kill. It was awesome. Fire everywhere, and not a single kobold left living.
