Brak Stonejaw never knew his parents. He was left as a baby outside a small farming village after an orc raid. Instead of fearing him, the villagers chose compassion and raised him as one of their own.

Brak was never clever. He struggled to read, couldn't remember directions, and often misunderstood complicated plans. But no one in the village was stronger, kinder, or more willing to help. He hauled wagons from the mud, carried roofs into place after storms, and stood watch whenever danger threatened.

One harsh winter, a band of raiders attacked the village. While everyone else fled, Brak grabbed a woodcutter's axe and stood alone at the bridge leading into town. He fought until reinforcements arrived, saving countless lives. From that day on, the villagers called him their hero.

Now Brak travels the world, not for gold or glory, but because he believes that if someone is in trouble, it's his job to help. He doesn't understand politics, magic, or complicated schemes. But he knows the difference between good people and bad people.
