Emerik grew up wanting to be a constable to help stop crime like his father. Emerik's father Garrith who was a high ranking high regarded constable suffered a impairing physical injury on the job forcing him to retire and live the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Unable to train Emerik his father sent him to mentor under Lucen Ashenguarde. Emerik was trained with Serahine Ashenguarde, Lucen's daughter. Unfortunately Emerik found out the Ashenguarde family was persumed to be killed by cultist. He later found out Seraphine alive but hasn't had any contact with her since they last trained together. After all the suffering of the people Emerik cared about, Emerik has doubled down on his focus to help stop and protect people from crime and heinous acts. Emerik carries his father's old guard badge with him as a valued memento.
