Enter the lightless asylum. A place for the deranged and forgotten. The tormented and cruel. Escape with your lives before your sanity dwindles, or join the denizens of this mad place.
The lightless asylum is a roleplay heavy dungeon that you will survive only if you are cunning enough. Some battles here are winnable, others are not, do not assume you can fight your way out.
Special Rule, Gearless: You start the lightless asylum with an empty inventory except for your clothes and any money on you. You do not get your lost gear back until you escape the dungeon.
Special Rule, Madness: Certain things may cause a character to gain a point of Madness. Characters with higher ranks of Madness perceive the world differently – for better or for worse. If you reach 6 ranks of Madness, you lose your mind entirely and join the inmates of the lightless asylum as an NPC.
