Lute is a follower of Phantakh the Reveler. Lute has a twin sister named Lyre and the both lived together in Lover's Port in Bazagon. Lute went to Vyrinth Port for week to visit her father Dulcimer and upon her return home Lyre was gone and all that was left was a note that said she had to go to Grand Cleft but no reason why. Worried Lute left for the Grand Cleft to find her sister. She often wears a wooden grinning mask with colorful plumes of feathers on the outside of the mask.
