Juugan stands barely over four feet tall, but every inch of him looks carved from tide-washed stone. His thick arms and shoulders show the hard labor of a life spent hauling nets, repairing boats, and tending seaweed beds along the rocky coast.

Once heir to a thriving coastal enterprise, Juugan grew up on the docks of Henoko . His family ferried travelers, fished the deep waters, and harvested the best seaweed in Hanura. But after his father’s sudden death, his family was forced to take on his debts. A local lord seized the family business, claiming what was owed, and left Juugan and his kin with nothing but a small portion of their seaweed plots.

Juugan has been working through the hard times in fighting pits and mercenary work.
