You are staying at the Twin Pines Inn during a howling rainstorm. The innkeeper, Master Gensai, proudly displays his most prized possession: an ancient bonsai passed down through seven generations. The tree is trimmed into the perfect shape of a weeping dragon, its needles turning an unnatural rust-red as the autumn chill settles in.

Content Warning. This is a horror-themed adventure with violence and gore and influenced by a Japanese folk-horror aesthetic known as kaiden.

D20ctober. This is a special GM collaborative challenge featuring 31 prompts for each of the 31 days in October. D20ctober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so these participating GMs are challenging themselves with this creative tool. Today's prompt is “Miniature.”
