Appearance: Jannz wears a hood and loose clothing, suited to withstand the desert heat. He often has a coating of sand over his clothes, due to sleeping in the sand. Unlike some people, he quite likes sand.

Personality: Jannz is a kind and friendly man. As an archaeologist, his curiosity often gets the better of him, leading him into dangers beyond what he can handle.

Other Details: Jannz knew Phoenix when they were both new to adventuring. I'd imagine he'd be distraught over the latest news.
