Mnemosyne is the youngest daughter of the hero known as Daedalus. She and her older brother, Icarus, have been raised in the shadow set by their father's example of what a hero should be.

With both siblings manifesting very strong powers, Icarus quickly found himself attending the Phoenix Academy, while Mnemosyne ended up being pushed into attending Eclipse Academy until she can get a better handle of not letting her powers cause unnecessary damage to the people around her.
