Aasraa is the kid of two alien ambassadors from the planet Mynthra. They were born on earth but raised on their parents culture and language. They been assigned to the academy in an effort to build good faith with humans and the local government, as a show of integration between both cultures and as a learning experience for Aasraa.

Their name is written Āsrā or Aasraa, not Asra.
