Following weeks of reconnaissance led by Oswald Hartstride, Gart Leonhart, and numerous Guild scouting parties, the location of the unknown organization's primary encampment has finally been confirmed deep within the western forest.

While the Rank C strike force prepares to assault the enemy's command center, intelligence indicates that large numbers of hostile patrols, mutated creatures, and scattered enemy personnel continue to occupy the surrounding woodland.

Recent reports further confirm that the enemy has begun preparing for the Guild's arrival. Defensive positions have been established throughout the forest, and hostile forces are expected to attempt both reinforcement of their encampment and withdrawal should the assault succeed.

This operation is not merely an escort mission.

The survival of nearby settlements depends upon preventing the enemy from escaping the forest.

By authorization of Father Oorl, Rank D adventurers will establish the Guild's containment line alongside contracted mercenary companies. While the Rank C strike force assaults the enemy's center, your responsibility is to secure the battlefield, eliminate all resistance encountered beyond the main encampment, and ensure that nothing breaches the forest's perimeter.

If the spear fails... the shield must still hold.

Main-Objective

1. Escort and reinforce the Rank C assault force.
2. Eliminate hostile patrols, defensive positions, and roaming mutated creatures surrounding the battlefield.
3. Prevent enemy personnel from reinforcing the central encampment.
4. Prevent all hostile personnel and mutated creatures from escaping beyond the forest.
5. Maintain containment of the operational area until Operation Green Requiem is declared complete.

Operation Directives

1. Do not pursue fleeing enemies beyond assigned operational sectors without authorization.
2. Prioritize containment over individual engagements.
3. Immediately relay any attempted breakout or reinforcement movements to nearby strike teams.
4. Should enemy forces attempt to flee the forest, interception becomes the highest operational priority.
5. Maintain communication with adjacent containment teams whenever possible.

Contingency Notice

Operation Ashfall

Should the Rank C strike force fail to report before dawn, Operation Green Requiem will be considered compromised.

Upon receiving confirmation from command:

1. All Rank D forces are to immediately withdraw to the edge of the forest perimeter.
2. Operation Ashfall will commence without delay.
3. The surrounding forest will be deliberately ignited to deny the enemy any opportunity to regroup or escape.
4. Remaining hostile forces are to be contained within the affected area.
5. Separate Guild response teams will conduct wildfire suppression and civilian protection beyond the operational boundary.

Any personnel remaining within the forest after Operation Ashfall has commenced will be presumed lost in action.
