How long has it been? Almost four Months? My how the Empire turns and turns. Four months since that fateful trial that has bound our clans into most blessed union! Regardless of any misgivings pertaining to the Magistrate's authority over spiritual, marital, and political matters, all combined too! The Crane clan welcomes the opportunity to develop the bonds of friendship and cooperation with our oldest ally.

The Phoenix Clan has graciously provided their compound to welcome the groom's parents into the city, they will be the guests of honor at this discrete gathering. Alongside their son of course.

The opening moves of the two clans will be made here. Do not be fooled by the affable smiles and the refined fashion. Love is war. And this will be the first battle.

Preference will be given to Phoenix and Crane characters due to their rather obvious involvement in the plotline. This will be an Intrigue conflict, ideally by the time session begins you will already have an idea of a social objective you'll want to accomplish.

This is a PvP session. Phoenix and Crane characters will be put in opposition over the course of the Intrigue, sabotaging and (polite) antagonising are to be expected. Characters from other clans might see their allegiances and loyalties tested when caught in the middle of this conflict. If unsure, consult with me beforehand to discuss your clan's allegiances and position in the conflict.

Knowing the battlefield is half the battle! Characters may try to gather information on potential guests and activities. as a downtime action and by succeeding at a Water Courtesy TN3 test, bonus successes grant more detailed information (A maximum of one assitance may be gained for the roll).
