For the session I’m giving players a bit of control over what adventure they go on. Below are a number of plothooks that can be followed. First I will select a group based on the normal rules for selection. Then the chosen players get to vote on which plothook they wish to pursue.

This session will be 5 hours of fast paced play by text. I expect the same level of presence that I would in a Voice session, meaning prompt acknowledgements of my questions and fast replies. Speed of posts is desired over quality and length. I would much rather get a one sentence reply in one minute than two paragraphs in ten minutes.

Plots:

1. Shinjo Reika, Wakaba, and their daughter, Ichika, have come to the city looking for a nakodo to arrange a match. Two matchmakers vie for their business, a master of love matches versus a master of political matches. During Ichika's debut feast, a debate breaks out over which approach is best for the harmony of the land. Which side will you support? (Intrigue, Political, Romance, Social PVP)
2. The City of the Rich Frog is a place where the Celestial Order can be turned on it’s head. Ouka, a prosperous heiman silk merchant, is seeking a patron and has arranged for the ronin Seki to host a gifting competition to decide who will earn her business. (Intrigue, Commerce, Art, Social PVP)
3. Kitsuki Yoshiha is hosting a Mono-Awase (aesthetics competition) to celebrate the approach of Summer. However on his way to the event from his home, the strap of his geta snapped. Are you prepared for an evening of courtly pleasure under the shadow of an inauspicious omens? (Intrigue, Art, Mystery, No PVP)
4. The death of her son during a hunting trip has driven Matsu Saeka to demand the hunt’s organizer, Ikoma Tomoka, answer for her negligence. While Tomoka has expressed grief over the passing of the Matsu, she refuses to accept the blame. Accusations are turning to insults and physical violence is on the horizon. Will you be able to de-escalate this feud and maintain peace? (Intrigue, Legal, Diplomacy, No PVP)
