Highspire is a massive, sprawling city-state, made from a collection of massive islands that have been lashed together and fortified with wanderlite. Its pristine white buildings tower so high into the skies that the tallest of them are swallowed by the clouds, while its underbelly hangs below the city, with dangling walkways and dark buildings that reach downward like gnarled fingers.

Despite its scale, the city is densely-packed, only barely offering enough space for its people. Even its nobles live in massive towers instead of sprawling mansions, and its middle-class citizens live in what most would consider to be apartments or dorms. There are often many people sharing the same space, and some may have apartments high in the skies, especially those capable of flight.
