Backstory
Ronan hails from the Darak family of Neverwinter, a human family with a particularly consistent aptitude for healing magic that they've spent years leveraging to build influence during the rebuilding of their fair city and the years following. For all their talent and skill, the Darak's are by reputation a severe family who demand significant compensation for the reliability and expertise they provide to most any magical malady or physical harm.
"The only harm you can come to in the company of a Darak is to your pride and pocket."
Originally a jeer, now their family motto as an undeniable mark of their quality.
Ronan is the fourth child born to this generation of the family and was immediately an oddity due to the horns, tail, and other physical differences that marked him as something... Other. Though what exactly that was has eluded even them. Inheriting the usual talent for medicine and restorative arts, in every other way he differed. Proactively healing without compensation or for his own curiosity, the young man was lost in thought often as he's lost in social situations... Constantly. Years of effort to mould him into someone that they find presentable and reliable have failed. So a last ditch effort on their part, if a reputation as an adventurer can be established surely some good would come to them... and it would get him out of their hair.
Description & Personality
Ronan Darak would fall a few inches short of six feet if the horns that curled up about his forehead didn't do it for him, the young man has long white hair of which only a portion has been tamed into a braid that hangs alongside well cared for sun-tanned skin. Blank white eyes regard the world with a disconcerting level of focus for something that should lack expression, forward posture betraying the neverending wellspring of curiosity that wells up within him. Robes of contrasting colors and fine make representing some form of dedication are carefully wrapped around the somewhat lanky figure. A lashing tail says all the eyes cannot whether it be joy, dejection, or excitement.
You will rarely find a more helpful hand at healing, freely given. Though you must prepare yourself for the bombardment of questions, curiosity, and outright strangeness that accompanies such company as Ronan.
