The Syndacate name has spread far and wide.
So far and wide that a group of adventurer was requested to escort a trail of caravans up north, to cold Icewind Dale.
Be warned adventurers, the North is a dark and cold place, join this adventure at your risk and peril.

The caravan we were hired to guard was waylaid by an avalanche. Only seven survivors. It would have been six, if not for Zena. Rations are low. The party agreed not to try to consume our own dead and burned them on the pyre instead. Thanks to Chef, it was an option; he made of the wolves meat that may sustain us.
We travel need to get to Icewind Dale.
___
We've been traveling for a day, past a ravine, past two celestial owls that were never unsummoned, their summoner dead. Victor terrified them, mimicking a natural predator. Perhaps I would've smiled, if only I could feel my face. We hid in a cave, to get away from the blizzard. I have been leading from the front. I have been navigating, planning, directing. The responsibility to keep them alive falls on me. The responsibility for the knight's death, dragged away into the snow and ripped apart by some massive, terrifying beast... Is mine.
___
Exploring the cave further, it was a vault of sort, protected by pebbles. When we opened the door, the dwarf touched it and it spelled his name in blood. He ran, screaming, outside - and the moment he was out, the beast reappeared, shoving him into its maw and- I will spare the details. Another is fallen.
___
Necromancy. That's what this tomb hides. The mage who seems interested in this seems genuine in her intent.

C.H.E.F. is gone. I was meant to protect the new adventurers. It does not matter if the Gods forgive me. I will not.
So we were tasked with helping a caravan head north to Icewind Dale. Second time I have been to the far north. Weird both my jobs have been to the frigid north so far. Any ways a huge avalanche took out most of the Caravan, nothing to be done about that. We fought off some wolves trying to eat the survivors. We found a Human warrior named Guero Riero, a Dwarf named Espero Paperhammer, and a Mage women named Maga Morgana. Maga Morgana took liking to me and stayed close to me throughout this long adventure. I did my best to keep her safe along with my fellow Syndicate members. When we rested for the night we woke up to find the other people in the caravan, torn apart and mutilated we did are best to honor then and gave them a form of final rites.
We carried on. We made our way past a large ravine and eventually we out witted a couple of giant celestial Owls. Finally we made rest again, but our companion Guero Reiro was taken by some large creature in the night. His head torn off and thrown back at us from the darkness.
Later we entered the cave and me and Maga would have interesting conversations about magic and gods. We found references to ancient empires and necromancy. Unfortunately I am not the most well versed in these fields but it was interesting and I enjoyed talking to her. We found long dead skeletons that surprisingly didn't animate and try and kill us. We then fought some weird eyeball monsters, solved a puzzle and we helped Maga get to the ruins that she wanted to explore. When the door opened something started to happen and it startled Espero and he run away. We found him torn apart later. The monster was stalking us, and I grew paranoid that we were being picked off one by one.
We continued a crossed a bridge, beneath the bridge was several hundred severed animated hands crawling around beneath it. Again we did not get attacked by them. We crossed the bridge and saw an exit to the outside, but also the ruins Maga had come all this way to investigate. We decided to help her investigate, she was so exited by what she discovered. But then it happened. I let her out of my sight for only a moment, and the monster appeared again it crushed her with a boulder. She was slain instantly. The Monster was corrupted by Chardalyn an evil metal, but I didn't care we had spent days with Maga. I didn't know her for long but I grew attach to her and I failed her in every way. Worst of all the beast escaped and run away. We were too wounded to follow after it. Tiamat once again letting me be reminded of my weakness. But I will kill it and all of it's kin. I swear I will.
