The same line is written into her journal dozens, maybe hundreds of times. The writing gets more and more frantic as the page goes on, scrawling into incomprehension. At some point, blood drips onto the page.
I will not go back. I will not let anything interfere with my rightful return to my home. If I am going to die, it will be at the hands of my family. Not strangers. Not Loudwater. Not Silverymoon. Not anywhere other than the halls of House Irr'diin.
I am not leaving my room until my atonement is complete.
This, I swear.

I, Mila, Azrael, Biscuit, Wu'yone
Need info from Phalor. Necro magic user. Prison. Three day, break prison. Try, I, other, find info. Fail.
Prison visit chance. Ask no mask. No. Other go, I stay. Wait.
Meet Earl, farmer, from earlier. Bring food prison. Ask, come later. Yes. Lead.
Later. Biscuit come. Say, try magic, but magic not allow. Many weird word. Leave. Other in prison.
Later, other return prison. No break prison.
We had gone to meet up with the Necromancer who had been buying the parts from the poacher, but sadly it seems we were too late. He had been imprisoned in a high security prison on the outskirts of Loud water. We had successfully gotten in to scope the place out, but... Sadly, Biscuit had decided that healing a man who did not need it was more important than everyone getting out without any trouble. They managed to flee, but the rest of us where captured. I was lucky enough to be able to talk my way out of it, but... That was so stupid of them. I can only hope I am not paired up with them on other missions anytime soon, or I might be unprofessional, and let my distaste for them cause another failure...
This mission was a diseaster. We found out our contact regarding mysterious biomechanical attacks has been arrested and we needed to break him out of a prison of ridiculous security levels. We spent a lot of time gathering information and even attempted to infiltrate the prison as supposed relatives, to get some questions out of the man...only for Biscut to try casting spells despite knowing we're being watched, then running away and leaving us at guard's mercy. We're lucky we got out of that pit alive. I felt useless during the entire mission. I'm, at my core, a soldier, not a spy. I know others will do a second attempt at dealing with the prison. I decided to opt out, I can tell when a mission is not suited for my skills.
The plot thickened.
We tried to meet the hunter's contact to sell the parts and maybe figure out who it was that was making these things. Which lead us to a trashed laboratory, and a tiefling woman who said the necromancer we were supposed to meet had been arrested and was going to be executed. She asked for us to go save him. Me, Wuyone, Azrael, Mila, Yap. What could possibly go wrong?
We scoped the place out, tried to get as much information as we could, before trying to enter under subterfuge to visit the man himself. They took everything from us, which was certainly interesting, but this place was backwards anyway. I didnt like the way a guard was talking to us, and the tension was thiiiiiick. We eventually got to Phaelor's cell, and started communicating with one another about how to get him out. They had told us that the cell blocked magic uses inside, but I was curious if magic could extend into the cell if cast outside of it. Logically, since we were all talking, it seemed unlikely that a spell cast with only verbal components could be seen and understood by a guard that was at least a baseball field away, but apparently this place is bereft of logic.
When the guard tried to arrest me, and it was clear that the rest of the group wasnt going to do a thing about it, I made my escape. Frankly, that was the right decision. Told Yap what happened, and got outta dodge. That place is best left behind. Why do we need that necromancer anyway? Im going to find a solution to this mechanical issue all on my own.
