Big Problems

a town called daggerford wanted help! they were friends with these giants but lately theres been problems with the giants of the maelstrom nearby, stealing and eating the cows. :( so we were summonned! asrael, jueinuma, and rokka (me!!) went out. chatted with alekka golt, this old lady who fought in the local mission. and farmer jenkins, a really nice and really sad farmer whose cattle got ate. and then there was illan darosi, this no good merchant guy who was a THAYAN IN DISGUISE. but we didnt know that yet. he gave us all these traps and stuff and wanted us to capture and kill the hill giant responsible.

things got fishy. the farm showed giant tracks, and cart tracks, and humanish footprints? so we followed them into the woods nearby. found this big ol field of dead cows. but they were killed by knives, not like giant swords or anything. and then during the rain there was this cool storm giant man, torosius, who seemed kinda sad. :( he talked about how thayan guys typically caused problems, and they might be blaming giants to get a cultist foothold in daggerford! jue REALLY didnt like that... and azrael was mad because he remembered darosi dropped out of merchant school (i forgot what he said, something about a license). i wasnt listening because i got to ride on torosius shoulder :D

we got back and convinced alekka, but darosi was rallying up people. calling us bad names. but were like SO GOOD at persuading. and then azrael snatched a wig off a lady in the crowd and i got it :) but she was thayan and thats why we did that. so we FOUGHT!!! it was fun. jue was real good at stabbing. azrael got good spells. and i kept yelling. oh and azrael hit a guy and made him sleep. anyway WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got good things and went home as some sorta saviors of daggerford. never been a hero before. feels good.

I went to the town with the Kobold and Elf, to investigate some missing cattle. Turns out that a Ex Communicated Merchant was killing the cows to cause panic for the red wizards. I was lucky enough to put down that fake merchant and kept the up appearances. A Storm Giant was being blamed, which we cleared his name. I am considering keeping him in mind for a later date. I also gained a bag of holding, which is always nice for future endeavors, and I overall enjoyed this little adventure, as everything went to plan.

On behalve of the Syndicate, Jue went to Daggerford with a group to help the guard as they have been slumped with work.

Once there, Jue and party met two people, Alekka Gold and Illan Darosi. They were speaking about how things were going wrong and animals are dying.

They were happy that Jue and group were there.

We followed Alekka towards the farm of farmer Jenkins where 3 cows were stolen. They believed it was Giants. Jue and group investigated and found that it likely wasn't Giants.

We followed tracks into the Blackbranch forest and found a site were the cows were ritually slayed. That doesn't look like giant behavior. While investigating we met a Storm Giant, named Trosius.

Trosius is emissary is the Mealstrom and is trying to get people to know them. However they have some troubles with the Red Wizards of Thay. Note: Jueinuma knows of the Red Wizards, they aren't good. End Note.

We returned to Daggerford with Trosius in tow as Trosius seemed like a good person. We encounted Illan again and Illan was riling up the townsfold against us. Azrael quickly called Illan out on Illan's merchant background which was fake.

Jeu also noticed the Thayan marks on Illan and some other bystanders. The group called Illan out and after Azrael used magic to get the wig of a Thayan wizard and exposed them, Jue and group fought them. Jue and group won.
