Torvek Pathscar is a minotaur from distant Bazagon in the world of Ichoros. Once employed as a caravan guard, he was captured after protecting travelers from slavers, sold through several ports, and eventually shipped north as exotic labor for Clan Runegate. The dwarves now use his strength and remarkable sense of direction to scout mountain routes from Retreat’s End. Torvek appears obedient, but quietly memorizes every trail, cave, and defensible crossing that might someday lead the prisoners to freedom.

Torvek stands nearly eight feet tall, with a massive, broad-shouldered frame covered in dark brown fur and a coarse black mane. One horn is chipped near the tip, and a Runegate brand scars the right side of his face. His gray eyes are calm and watchful, and he speaks slowly, rarely wasting words. Despite his intimidating appearance, he instinctively places himself between danger and anyone weaker than himself.
