A couple of years ago, in a abandoned cottage. Kailar found a peculiar looking potion, he felt a magic emminate from the potion. The nearby books and scrolls were all but faded. Kailar figgured they must have been instructions on how to make the potion, or some clue to what the potion might do. A quick study of the few words that could be read, Kailar was able to find the words "Power" and "Immortality". It did not take long before Kailar quaffed the potion, awaiting a surge of power.

However, the potion made him feel weak, and looking into a nearby mirror, he saw himself rapidly aging. Not long after, a long, white beard sprouted from his chin. 

To this day, it is unclear to Kailar if the potion did age him, or just made him look older. But one thing is certain to Kailar, the effects needed to be reversed. Now he searches for a remedy before it may be too late for him.

Kailar met a alchemist named Lumi, she had a look at the papers Kailar had found in the cottage. Frightened of what she read, she warned Kailar that this potion, and the way to create it is a dangerous proccess, and not only for the hard to get ingredients. She believes this potion is related to one of the drowned god's rituals-or worse.
Kailar chose not to mention that he had drunk the potion to Lumi at this moment, he needed time to proccess the information given.

For now, Lumi needed someone to gather more Seafire Kelp. And after Skådis and Ulfgar failed to return after they went looking for some, Kailar agreed to help as a show of good faith, and a thank you for the assist with the potion notes.
