Formerly a farmer, Hjalmer lost his home during a raid that resulted in his farm being burnt and trampled. Left alone, he sold the land to another farmer in the region and bought provisions to become a mercenary and adventurer, seeing that he has nothing else left to lose. He is tall, blonde haired and blue eyed, pale.
