The Dream of the Whispering Willow
The scent of wet willow bark and ancient magic fills your mind as the world fades.
Before you stands Faewynn the Whispering Willow, her elven form inextricably woven into the silver-white wood of a colossal tree. Her voice, a melodic rustle of leaves, echoes in your soul. "Chandalen," she breathes, eyes glowing with bardic power.
"The Elves have fallen. The Vale is a tomb of black frost. But the trees you and the other Sylva-Curia planted have done more than grow; their roots have knit together across the Vale, forming a network Vexius cannot see." Her expression hardens. "Vexius remains hidden, but his shadow in the East has stepped into the light. Lady Lirielle, the Grave Whisperer, marches upon Thornwood. A Revenant and a Paladin of Vengeance, she leads a legion of rot, commanded by necromancers and a terrifying Dracolich."
Faewynn’s hand reaches toward you. "Rally the Lizardfolk and the Goblinoids. Strike with the speed of a falling tree. Vexius’s Sending Stone Network is active; the moment you are seen, the stone-bells will ring and reinforcements will swarm. You have only moments to kill a dragon and its mistress. Topple Lirielle, and you will force Vexius out of the shadows. Take back the Vale."
"Chandalen," she whispered, her eyes shimmering with the ethereal glow of bardic power. "You aren't alone in Ichoros. There are others ready to stand against this. There is Clapton the bard, the dissenter who risked everything to warn the people, and Ethlebeth, whose elven connections run deep. Caramet the Yadira, the rogue Iowa Smith, the mage Erik—even Leaf and Thereza have heard the grim tales of the atrocities Vexius has unleashed upon this land."
She steps closer, her voice with urgency. "But the final key is Welldone the one that Vexius should have eliminated when he had the chance. He is the villain's greatest mistake. Gather your friends and muster your forces; we have to strike now, before the window closes."

Martial Potency: You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Sustaining Glow: While this weapon is on your person, whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that restores Hit Points, the target regains an additional 2 hit points. This bonus explicitly stacks with any other features, feats, or subclass traits that enhance healing output. Vale’s Guidance: As a Bonus Action, you can cause the sickle to shed bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet, or extinguish the light. PVP: None This is a cooperative experience. Player-versus-player combat is not permitted; your success depends entirely on your ability to work together against the threats of the Vale.
The dreamscape bled into focus, a swirl of grey mist and the smell of damp earth. Chandalen felt his consciousness anchored not to his own body, but to the nervous system of the world itself. Faewynn’s voice didn’t come from a throat; it resonated from the very soil. "Look through my eyes, Chandalen," her voice echoed, distant and haunting. "The roots do not lie. They feel the heartbeat of the land, and right now, Douxel Vale is a wound that will not heal." "The Army of Rot has claimed the fort of the valley," she murmured as the vision zoomed toward the western bank. "I feel the rhythmic, hollow thud of four hundred dead soldiers. They have no breath, yet the earth groans under the weight of their numbers." The dream shifted, pulling his gaze across the Noxus. "They have choked the crossings. To the east, another two hundred shades haunt the treeline, waiting to snap shut like a trap. And to the south..." The vision panned to the cleared logging woods, where three massive, dense squares of absolute stillness sat. "Three legions in reserve. Three hundred more, held in a silence so perfect it can only be commanded by a singular, corrupted will." The image of a dark, armored figure flickered in the center of the camp—a void of light that seemed to suck the warmth from the surrounding dirt. "The Undead Paladin is the anchor," Faewynn warned, the dream-world trembling. "He is the iron nail holding this nightmare together. And above... there is a chill in the air that the roots cannot reach, a shadow that suggests the Draco-Lich is more than a whisper. It is a storm waiting to break."
The scene shifted one last time. Far from the rot, in the deep swamps and jagged caves of the periphery, Chandalen saw flickering eyes—the low, reptilian glint of the Lizardfolk and the twitching, nervous shadows of the Goblin tribes. "I have spoken to the scaly-kin and the small-folk in the dark," Faewynn whispered, her form beginning to dissolve into the roots. "They feel the rot coming for their homes, too. They are armed. They are hidden. But they are fractured. They wait for a voice that carries the authority of the living. They wait for you, Chandalen." The vision began to fade, the cold grip of the undead army replaced by the warmth of his own bedroll. "Rally them. If the Lizardfolk’s tooth and the Goblin’s spite do not meet the Paladin’s steel at the river’s edge, the Vale will not be the last thing to fall. Wake now... and lead."
