Karuna has green skin and big ears and dresses in simple monk gear.
Karuna was sent to the monastery at a young age. The monastery was destroyed. He came to Luma.
Karuna was born in [find the name of the place here], one of eight children. With too many mouths to feed, when monks came by seeking young initiates, Karuna's mother Kulsum sent him to go with them and have a chance at a better life.
Karuna came to live in the [[insert name]] monastery high in the mountains. There he trained in meditation and studied the Celestial Weave. He also learned weaving, the craft for which the monastery was known.
The monastery had stood in that place carved into the mountain for a thousand years, but it seemed perhaps they delved too deep or were simply unlucky, as a great cracking sounded. The monastery collapsed, sending Karuna and his brother to their deaths. At which point Karuna arrived in Luma...
