Summary

Yosuke Hanamura staggered backward, blinking rapidly as the suffocating, heavy fog of the TV World vanished, replaced by the blinding glare of an unfamiliar midday sun. The scent of ozone and rotting wood was gone, replaced by the crisp, earthy smell of a pine forest and the distinct aroma of roasting meat drifting from a bustling cobblestone town in the distance.Still clutching his signature twin kunai, he looked down at his standard Yasogami High school uniform, now dusted with dirt, and the bright red headphones still clinging to his neck. There was no television screen to crawl back through. He was entirely, undeniably stranded in a high-fantasy realm. To survive and find a way home, Yosuke had no choice but to sprint toward the nearest settlement and sign up at the local Adventurer’s Guild, thrusting him into a bizarre new reality.
