Forgetful (not dementia)
Bjorgen was fed up with the lifestyle of other dwarves, filled with revelry, drinking, and endless parties in mountain halls. At the age of 135, he decided to leave and live alone in the mountain wilderness.
His life was difficult. His body ached frequently, food was scarce, and the cold was piercing. But he was confident. Armed with only shabby clothes, his favorite blue jacket, and a bag containing his grandfather's stone carving tools, Bjorgen found peace. Here, he learned to listen to the mountain speak. He carved runes into the stone to appease nature, and nature reciprocated by protecting him.
