Iuchi Katsuya is the third son of Iuchi Shichiro, and was born with the Gift of the Kami. He has received the holding of his family known as the Three Rivers Rushing Ranch, where he has dedicated his life and training to the care and breeding of horses. He has a particular interest in more exotic breeds of horses and his magic is in particular focused on enhancing the noble steeds, as individuals and in his ongoing breeding of them.

As such, he also has a particular care for tack and harness, for saddles and ornamentation for his animals, and as such, he is offering further invitations to a few select individuals, Shugenja and Artisans that can show an appreciation for his arts, and assist him in showcasing the nobility of his steeds.

OOC: This will be a Slow-Moving Intrigue run over 3 days where the players seek to explore the 3 Rushing Rivers Ranch and get to know Iuchi Katsuya, and perhaps earn his favour.

It will run over three rounds, each lasting 24 hours, with one roll towards your Social Objective per 24-hour period.

Round 1: Thursday to Friday

Round 2: Friday to Saturday

Round 3: Saturday to Sunday

Momentum for Social Objectives will be adjusted with this in mind.

Players will be picked 48-24 hours in advance of the Session, and will pick a Social Objective and roll Initiative (Ring+Sentiment, TN1, Initiative equals Focus+Successes) in the time between being picked and Session start. Appeal Objectives are the most likely, with goals that can be discussed in Player Hubs, etc. I will also seek to give each PC a secret objective based on their character that they may try to fulfill during the Intrigue

As an Intrigue, you are also free to social RP with each other, with Katsuya, and with other NPCs (mostly his underlings, horses and so on), as well as explore the environs of the Ranch. Post expectations are relatively low given the time-scale, but 1-2 posts per round is the bare minimum.

Beyond the Rewards for the Session itself, characters may earn comissions (crafting or other downtime actions), as well as the opportunity to purchase titles Katsuya has the capability to grant by virtue of his station as Shugenja, as a Horselord, and as a minor Unicorn Lord (and potential heir to Shichiro), as well as bonds and potentially down the line the chance at a pony of your own (this will not be the only chance for this).

As Katsuya wishes to get a sense for the breadth of Samurai in the City and their talents, preference will be given to those who have not already attended one of his meetings.
